Take a classic Fender® Telecaster®, deck it out customised player-centric features, the finest hand-selected figured woods and custom hand-wound pickups, and you have the American Custom Telecaster. The two-piece select ash body features a contoured neck heel and an NOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish. A one-piece 3A birdseye maple neck features a Large "C" profile, 9.5”-12” compound-radius fingerboard, bi-flex truss rod with headstock adjust, abalone face dots and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Both hand-wound Loaded Nocaster® pickups—including the open-top neck pickup—are overwound with #44-gauge wire for rich Telecaster sound, and Fat ’50s wiring yields powerful tone with a transparent bloom. Other features include a three-ply parchment pickguard, strap locks, Sperzel® tuning machines with pearl buttons, bone nut, and American Standard string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
