The CDJ-2000NXS2 inherits all the best features from its predecessor – the CDJ-2000NXS – and takes a giant leap forward.
The Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 Nexus 2 CD/media player controller includes a multicolour touch screen with a Qwerty keyboard so you can name and recall digital files instantly. Search filters let you call up tracks faster so you can change direction quickly. Two banks of four hot cues call up cue points with one touch.
Meanwhile, the 96-khz/24-bit sound card syncs with music software so you can play higher-resolution formats. Digital tools, such as the 32-bit D/A converter, reduce analogue noise to a minimum through the separate analogue power supply. This controller supports crisp, high-resolution audio for FLAC, Apple Lossless Audio (ALAC) software and more standard formats such as MP3, WAV, AAC and AIFF.
The 7-inch, full-colour touchscreen displays all the data you need, including Wave Zoom, Needle Countdown, Phase Meter and more. Keyword Search and Track Filter modes help you find your tracks faster for a seamless performance. Faster retrieval speeds mean you can alter your sets on a moment's notice when you have a spontaneous idea that breaks from your preset program.
