Product Information

Make recording music more fun with the Roland HS-5 session mixer rehearsal and recording mixer. Up to five musicians can rehearse, jam and record music while monitoring with headphones on this compact, circular mixer. The device may look unusual, but it still packs a punch with hands-on controls of reverb alongside COSM effects for guitar, bass and vocals. The beauty of this device is that bands can record stereo sounds directly to a USB memory device or to a computer through a USB cable. Hook up to a DAW to record each channel to individual tracks ahead of mixing them together.

The HS-5 allows every musician in a group to set up their own independent monitor mix using the Mix A through Mix D switches located in the centre of the unit. That's why the round unit works well in a band setting, because each set of wires goes off in a different direction. Once the sound engineer decides on an overall mix method, use the My Mix knob to adjust the volume of each mic or instrument.
