Produce melodious digital music when you partner with the Waldorf Blofeld keyboard synthesizer. This keyboard boasts 60 megabytes of sample memory for when you need backing tracks or want to save your keystrokes. The virtual-analogue synthesis and classic style provide a system that lets you create just the right velocity and aftertouch for when you want to produce subtle sounds.
Classic rotary dials allow you to control analogue waveforms in the oscillators, such as pulse width, sawtooth and triangle. Part of the memory embedded in this device contains read-only memory wavetables that let you reproduce vintage sounds from previous Waldorf products. Two multi-mode filters per voice that you can route in a series or in parallel give you more options for overlaying tones in stereo sound. Filter types include low pass, band pass and notch, all of which tap into Waldorf's previous iterations of this classic keyboard. This instrument may look unobtrusive and without a lot of added features, but underneath the durable exterior this Waldorf product packs a meaty punch when it comes to simplicity and versatility with 16 steps per sound and more than 1,000 sounds.
