Equipped with five built-in microphones, the Zoom H2n Handy recorder captures sounds with enhanced clarity and definition. Two of the microphones are arranged as an X/Y pair, and the rest are configured in an MS pattern, which allows for stereo or surround sound recording. This makes the H2n suitable for a wide array of applications, from recording live concerts and audio for YouTube videos to location videography.
When used with two alkaline AA batteries, this recorder offers over 20 hours of continuous use to ensure practicality and portability. This model is also compatible with AD-17 AC adapters to draw power from any regular wall socket and ensure continuous use for even longer periods.
The H2n recorder works with standard SD and SDHC cards to let you store up to 32 gigs of recorded sound and transfer it easily to your computer. You can also use the handy USB port to transfer digital data or use this recorder as a typical USB microphone. The package also includes the WaveLab LE software to help you edit the recorded audio and create impressive tracks.
